The Minatare Police Department consists of five officers (2 full and 3 part-time officers) and provides law enforcement services to the City of Minatare that has a population of 810. Chief Robert Regester joined the force in September 2003 and is the Department administrator and he is assisted in he patrol duties by Officer Jason Rahmig who joined the department in the fall of 2007 and graduated from the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center in April 2008. The Minatare Police Department utilizes two marked patrol vehicles which are equipped with state of the art communications equipment and other law enforcement equipment.
